Why must every single reaction lately be about hate and unacceptance?! "It's MY country...It's MY religion... It's MY beliefs... It's UNACCEPTABLE!" C'mon, now we can't sing a song about America and allow other races, ethnicities and cultures celebrate in it too? Are we not America the Beautiful?! America the Free?! America the open arms for a better life? America the land of liberty, with Lady Liberty standing tall on Ellis Island to WELCOME others to our wonderful lands!
America herself IS beautiful! It is my fellow Americans, however, who are disappointing me once again.
(*I chose not to post a link here. Whether you've heard or not heard about it, choose to look it up or not (just Google Coca Cola controversy- I'm sure it'll pop right up) either way, does it really matter at this point? It's just one more display of anger and outrage towards something meant to be beautiful.)
