Faith in the Unknown

I sometimes wonder what we are being taught by the unknown. The mysteries of life can keep us from our desires and our truth. They rob us of our yearning. They feed the fire that is fueled by fear. Like the literal "?" is hanging above our heads, it becomes heavy and burdensome. We doubt our hearts and allow comfort and safety to be our guide. 

While the feeling of safeness is always welcomed and important, once we find ourselves harnessed to it, allowing it to keep us from moving forward, we are no longer using it for our own good. We have become still. Frozen. Unable to create the irrefutable paths that our journey to the future are meant to take. There are no rules. Only to be true. To be an honest outwardly extension of our inner spirits. To keep focus somewhat distorted...leaving space and time for the daunting unknown. 

Without using force, spiritual and other, gently step out of your shoes. Walk bare footed. Feeling your path, your journey, your freedom squishing between your toes! Linger there. And then breathe in again. 

This, I believe, is what the unknown is teaching us. To breathe. To wonder. To have some of our darkest hesitations met face to face with our courage to continue. 

To be faithful. Yes, full of faith! 

Faith in who we are. Not by how others portray us but, how we see ourselves in the quietest, pure, most honest moments of our lives. 

Place yourself in your dream moment. You know, the moment deep within yourself that you go to, to find peace and complete euphoria. Your internal sanctuary. An image you conjure that is yours and yours alone. The safest place you know. Visualize yourself in that very moment. Look around you there. Now, pull everything you see and feel inward...harnessing all that is love and comfort and security. Know that you are blessed. 

THIS is your guidance. There are no real answers. There are no guarantees. Except for uncertainty. There will always be change and renewal and personal evolution. Unless you do nothing. Unless you choose fear. 

The unknown is a tool meant to catapult us forward. To ignite our bravery! To show us, where we are is where we are meant to be!
